GALS tools were part of a 2006 impact assessment of PACT-US micro-finance programme. In 2019 IFAD started a full GALS process under Joint Programme “Rural women Economic Empowerment” with“Samriddhi -Rural Enterprises and Remittance Project”, implemented by Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply.
