A participatory process that periodically reviews the progress towards gender justice as the basis for ongoing gender empowerment planning.
First developed with ANANDI in India as a participatory assessment of their women’s empowerment strategies and Pakistan for gender participatory gender impact assessment and planning. Bukonzo Joint in Uganda then partnered to further develop the tools, process and integration as an ongoing internal assessment and planning process as part of Oxfam Novib’s WEMAN and GENVAD programmes.
